Welcome to Excite Physiotherapy. Note Mary St is a one way street and must be accessed from Dunlop St. Mary St is closed from Simcoe St (Lakeshore) to Dunlop. We are located in an old, beautifully renovated house, there is no signage out front. Come right in and wait in the waiting room. Your therapist will come to get you at the time of your appointment.

Our Physiotherapists are highly skilled in Advanced Manual Therapy as well as IMS, a unique form of dry needling. Utilizing these treatments, we are able to assess and treat your injuries effectively and efficiently.


Massage Therapy

Our Massage Therapists are highly trained and can help by reducing or eliminating pain, improving joint mobility, improving lymphatic drainage, and reducing muscular tension


Myofunctional Therapy

Myofunctional therapy is an exercise-based treatment modality. It’s just like doing physical therapy, only for symptoms and conditions related to the face, mouth and tongue. Erin graduated from Western University with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and from the University of Alberta with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Erin believes in evidence-based Physiotherapy, and by being part of the research community, she is able to stay up to date on treatment techniques and principles. Her treatment philosophy focuses on individualized treatment plans by combining a thorough assessment, hands-on treatment and active exercise-based rehabilitation to help you get back to the activities you love.

Her skills include in Functional Dry Needling (Yes, she needles too!), Advanced Vestibular Rehab, Level 2U Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

Erin is an expert at treating conditions like osteoarthritis, tendinitis and temporomandibular disorders (TMJ).

Christine completed her Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics and went on to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2008. Since graduating, Christine has completed extensive post-graduate education including most recently receiving her Diploma of Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy and becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists, the highest credentials given to a Physiotherapist in Canada. She also has training in Gunn IMS, ImPACT Concussion Management, TMJ Dysfunction, and Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Christine has had the opportunity to work closely with elite athletes and weekend warriors alike, including CrossFit Athletes, Canadian Champion Wakeboarders, OHL Hockey players, Division 1 College Basketball Players and World Class Wrestlers.
